A major feature of this new teaching centre is the wide internal streets that provide a functional and pleasing environment for staff and students. The two-storey main block houses maths and art class rooms. The orientation and fenestration maximise north light to the art class rooms.

There is a state-of-the-art ICT facility of a storey and a half that has convenient access for students via the main circulation and public access from reception.

The building was procured via a partnering contract involving Doncaster MBC as Client, Hatfield Visual Arts College as End User and Kier Northern Main Contractor.
