Our framework agreement with Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service has involved us in the feasibility and outline design stages for three new fire stations, a number of site development plans and various minor improvements across the estate.

The first to be completed is Nottingham Road Fire Station, Derby. A new high profile two appliance community station with enlarged community facilities integrated into the design. Sustainability was high on the Clients agenda, therefore the design includes two new wind turbines, solar panels, sun pipes and non toxic construction materials with minimum embodied energy. Multi-use facilities are incorporated at the interface of the fire service and community accommodation.
